Okay so I'll admit, it's taken me a while to come around to the wide leg trend. I kind of just tried to turn my eye and pretend it wasn't happening. The "Jnco's" phase in the late 90's really left a scar on my style pride and I swore off any type of roomy pant situation for life. For LIFE. But, I was 12 then and I'm 28 now. Things change! And these roomy pants are anything but 90's grunge. They're 70's. And I flipping love the 70's. The music, style, hair, and general "low key bossiness" vibe that 70's babes emitted. These pants make me feel like a bad ass BOSS lady. I walk more confidently. I order my coffee with more certainty and I definitely feel ready to boogie down the soul train aisle, head held high.
While the silhouette is quite loud, they are also extremely easy and laid back. Casual even. I'm having fun trying something a little different from my usual style.
Are there any trends that you swore off in the past but have now come to love/accept? High waisted wide leg pants are definitely one for me!
